Hello ELF, We’re back for another awesome update!
Week of 7/20-7/26
As expected it was Devil, the long awaited special album that took the top spot for SJ in the charts this week. Not just in general, but it placed no. 1 in the Hanteo weekly top 100 with 75 519 albums sold. Combined, SJ now has 102 852 albums sold, and is no. 5 in the Hanteo yearly chart AND it puts SJ as no. 4/5 best seller for this year (depending on how Big Bang’s singles albums are counted)
As usual with comebacks, it brought some other SJ albums back on the chart:
- This is Love – no. 54
- Mamacita ver. B – no. 83
- Mamacita ver. A – no. 85
This was a strong week for D&E as well. The Beat Goes On (TBGO) special edition took spot no. 37 in the chart, up from last week, and TBGO special edition held on at no. 88. This puts TBGO Standard Ed. at 74 924 units sold and 11th overall for the year (less than 700 units away from no. 10!), and the Special Edition at 19 694 units sold and 38th overall (close to breaking the 20 000, let’s keep this target in view). Despite strong comebacks from many groups, D&E was pushed down one spot to no. 5/6th of the year by Devil, but still stands as one of the strongest releases of the year.
Kyuhyun went up to no. 41 of the week. Kyuhyun has proven that AG is one of the most popular idol solo releases ever.
After a week off the charts, M&D also made a good comeback in spot no. 76! Yay for M&D! They now hold 22 230 albums sold and went up one spot on the charts to no. 36.
Disclaimer: SJ-W admins keep their track of SJ sales to the best of our abilities. Numbers for the albums may not be exact, but should be fairly close to the actual sales.
